As talk of a new album becomes more and more serious, T.J. gets a houseguest. Phoenix begins to ponder the point of his career and wonder if he's past his prime.

Trent wonders what he's gotten himself into with all of the publicity surrounding the movie.

Phoenix seeks Tony's counsel on the issue. Grammy nominations are announced. Micah and the Mullenese prepare to depart for Texas.

SUMMARY: Phoenix ponders his place in the industry after a disappointing lack of Grammy nods. A Few Good Men officially reunite in the studio, thanks to some clever scheduling. The pressure of the publicity blitz starts to really get to T.J. and he and Phoenix argue over Grammy performances. Micah begins to worry about what will be expected of him in Texas.

SUMMARY: Joel goes on the warpath, alienating many of his artists and wondering what's happening to himself. Trent, Cecily and Skyler depart for Venice. Phoenix manages to snare himself a six-month break from the spotlight. Joel's new signee Perry Sparks makes a bad first impression on his new labelmates. Micah makes a new friend in Texas. Tony and Phoenix reminisce about the "good old days" of the Solitude tour and discuss the prospect of a Solitude tour reunion after Phoenix's sabbatical. Andy makes a prediction to Frankie and Mel about Joel and the future of JLN. Tony makes plans for Kristen's Valentine surprise. Phoenix decides to take a vacation of his own after receiving a post card from T.J.

SUMMARY: Valentine surprises abound. Phoenix and Kristen make plans to return to Bozeman while Tony and Micah are on the U-Turn tour. Cullen injures his brother while Jennafer is babysitting them. Serena hesitates when Phoenix asks her to be his date at the upcoming Grammy awards. Trent goes ballistic when he hears about Joel threatening to fire his producer Bill.

SUMMARY: The JLN artists commiserate on the plane en route to the Grammy ceremony in New York about how unfair and overbearing Joel has been lately. Tony and Kristen argue over their children. All eyes are on Micah and the Mullenese, while they try to put everything into perspective and remember the real reason they're there. During pre-show interviews, both Trent and Phoenix predict that Micah will take it all. A Few Good Men open the telecast with a rousing rendition of "Take Me as I Am." Phoenix and Trent take the stage to perform "Look at You." Up there, Phoenix has an epiphany about his career.

SUMMARY: Micah and the Mullenese lose two major trophies, one to Phoenix, who is beside himself at the win. Serena wonders if Phoenix understands how suggestive his acceptance speech tribute to her sounded. After the ceremony, comraderie abounds. Trent embarks on the recording of his ninth album, naming it Somewhere Outside Eternity. Tony and Micah hit the road for the U-Turn tour. Phoenix and Kristen hit the road for a week back home in Bozeman, where he is struck by how different the town seems to be.

SUMMARY: After catching up with old friend Maggie and getting some good news on his househunting project, Phoenix's mood regarding Bozeman brightens. Micah and Tony take the stage in Seattle, braving the rain to deliver a solid and fun-filled performance. Mel utterly humiliates herself in her banter with Frankie and wonders what her problem was. Phoenix and Kristen have a heart-to-heart in front of the fireplace in their hotel room, talking about the different directions life had taken them and his desperate desire to be a father. After a fight regarding the previous day's show, Joe leaves the U-Turn in a huff, taking the remainder of the Mullenese with him. Micah and Tony later discuss the situation.

SUMMARY: Despite the absence of the Mullenese, the first week of U-Turn is a success, as is the second, featuring Stacey Mullett and Americans. Joel is extremely pleased and optimistic for the third, featuring the JLN royalty, Phoenix and T.J. Much to his own surprise, Tony rather emphatically rejects Joel's promotional idea for As I Was Saying... Almost immediately after hitting the road, Trent falls ill, leaving Serena to nurse him and Phoenix to wonder if he's gonna have to carry the concerts alone. After Round Two of the intense Micah-Joe wars, Micah flies back to L.A. in a rage, venting all his frustration to Tony and confiding that Joe quit the band. Serena realizes that her sole identity as Phoenix's assistant isn't satisfying her anymore.

SUMMARY: After spending the night at Tony's place, Micah helps Kristen feed the boys in the morning and marvels at how fast Jennafer grew up. Tony drops by to see Mel in the studio and she pours her heart out to him after a rather intense fight with Frankie. During an interview, Trent surprises both the reporter and himself with his insight on Adrian Sweeney, causing T.J. to wonder if he really is anything like the character after all. Serena attempts to talk herself out of her crummy mood, but just ends up more miserable. Micah heads home to surprise Jennafer and later, at her birthday dinner, Patsy makes what Jennafer perceives as a thinly veiled dig about her encounter with Trent a year ago, ruining the festivities. A chance encounter in Fort Worth with a young woman named Jennifer prompts T.J. to recall what had transpired between them a year ago. Mel goes to Frankie's house to apologize to him and reveals - in the least subtle way possible - that she's falling in love with him.

SUMMARY: Joel takes an unexpected paternity leave, giving Andy his long-awaited chance to run the company. Despite her misgivings, Serena agrees to accompany Phoenix to Bozeman to work on the new house. Trent gets some bad news from his mom on the morning before his big premiere. Serena admits something to Kristen she regrets. Mel and Frankie get friendly on the final week of the U-Turn parking lot tour.

SUMMARY: Nerves abound in the limo, en route to the premiere. The stars meet their press and get to watch themselves on screen. Phoenix has too much to drink at the after party and runs into someone from his past, much to Serena's disgust. Trent ponders his performance in the film and wishes that his mother could have been there to see it too. Tony and Micah discuss the film and the Mullenese situation. Someone surprising shows up at the last minute.

Micah returns to Texas to find Joe gone on a little vacation of his own. Trent's career explodes. Andy's idea of a "new regime" for JLN takes everyone aback.

Andy once again surprises T.J. with his flexibility and willingness to put the past behind them and run a fair ship. Serena chastizes herself for her growing resentment for Phoenix, vowing to have a good time in Bozeman with him. Micah and Nikki bond in the park. Tony seeks T.J.'s counsel on the Jenny situation. Micah and Joe reach an understanding. Andy is stunned when he looks through the artists' contracts.

T.J. has a very interesting proposal for Joel. Andy begins plugging Nikki to radio. Serena can't control herself any longer.

Kristen has to wonder about Tony's sheer determination. Cecily ponders the future.

Phoenix gets some very surprising news from Andy. An unexpected nostalgia hits Frankie during AFGM's set at Cornerstone. Jennafer gets good news. Micah finds a new project. Tony stresses over the upcoming tour. Cecily's pregnancy takes its toll on the family. Phoenix and Serena have a very tense reunion and hit an unexpected understanding.

SUMMARY: Micah is glad to get a diversion (in the form of the "One Silent Night" single) from Jennafer's impending departure for college. Tony and Kristen wage war on the brand new BLT bus. Phoenix looks forward to the upcoming tour. A suggestion from Tony levels the four members of A Few Good Men. Serena can't help but notice the difference in her relationship with Phoenix. The trio of Reeves, Johnson and Millerstein take the stage in Anaheim.

SUMMARY: Phoenix and Tony are wowed by the irony of their first night aboard the BLT bus. Frankie wonders how his fledgling relationship with Mel will survive their respective tours. Andy sends Joel to an aspiring artist seminar in San Jose, just to get him out of the way and much to everyone's surprise, Joel enjoys it there. The first two weeks on the road are tough on the BLT crew. Micah and Jennafer reflect on her long-lost childhood. Serena fears that emotional collapse is imminent on the BLT bus, as all work and no sleep is taking a toll.

Jennafer struggles to make sense of her varying emotions. Cecily wages war with Trent's agent Judy on the telephone. Joel discovers some undiscovered gold up in San Jose, in the form of Helen Bishop. Trent is left reeling at how good Joel's latest promotional idea is. Andy offers some rather interesting advice regarding Joel's latest discovery.

SUMMARY: Kristen reaches the end of her rope, sobbing to Tony that she doesn't know how much longer she can handle road life. After the video shoot from hell and lunch with the contest winner, Trent's main concern is still Cecily's well being. Jason is stunned by the audience's acceptance of the song "I'm Alright" and has to ponder divine intervention. Jennafer finds that her fears regarding university were completely unfounded. Micah throws himself feet first into the "One Silent Night" single, if only to give himself something to do other than worry about his daughter. The work starts piling up on Andy and he begins regretting taking over the label. Micah and Nikki's playful rapport has Joe raising an eyebrow.

SUMMARY: Due to some teamwork on behalf of the BLT crew, Skyler's second birthday party is a success. Kristen encourages Phoenix not to give up on his dream of a family so easily. Micah is perplexed by both Patsy's sudden generosity and his suddenly heavy workload. A Few Good Men continue to make superstars out of themselves on the stage, something Tony can't help but take credit for. Phoenix makes a late-night confession to Trent that isn't exactly well-received. Andy regrets shoving all of the "One Silent Night" responsibility off on Micah and wonders if he should take some time off. Tony, anxious to find out what's up with Phoenix this time, can't get much information out of an unusually tight-lipped Trent.

SUMMARY: Andy makes an interesting offer regarding "One Silent Night" to a stunned Micah. Phoenix, pondering T.J.'s harsh (but true) words the night before, is forced to face the music about his complacent state of living. Nikki thinks out her options, eager to end her commuter headaches. Thanks to Phoenix, the concert that night is a huge bust, something Tony's not exactly eager to forgive. Andy continues to simmer about his job and the responsibility  Joel forced upon him. Things miraculously seem to hit their stride for the BLT crew... but for how long?

SUMMARY: Joel can't help but pat himself on the back for his various accomplishments during Andy's sabbatical, while Andy, upon his return, can't help but feel displaced. The JLN artists arrive in Montreal for a much needed vacation. Phoenix's luck begins to change, in the form of a ski instructor named Gilbert. Joel, much to Andy's dismay, arrives with an entire video crew, hell-bent on filming the "One Silent Night" video. Helen is amazed at her new colleagues and their reception of her. Jennafer and Patsy embark on a mother-daughter weekend of bonding, something Micah is sure will end in disaster. Things between Trent and Cecily reach the boiling point during a minor emergency with Skyler. Perry Sparks makes yet another enemy in Frankie, due to a fight with Mel. Andy is forced to make a compromise.

SUMMARY: Micah and Tony try their hand on the ski slopes, with hilarious results. Phoenix places a phone call to Serena and makes a surprising confession to her. Tony spreads the news of Phoenix's "boyfriend" to Trent, who later is able to meet the infamous Gilbert. The artists brave the subzero temps for the "One Silent Night" video shoot. During it, Andy's resentment of  Joel only grows deeper. Helen comes face-to-face with Phoenix at the anniversary party and is pleasantly surprised. Over tears and painful memories, Cecily and Trent mend fences.

SUMMARY: Andy asks Micah all about Joel, his motives and what Andy can do to counteract them. Despite his many adamant denials, Phoenix is caught red-handed (and awfully red-faced) with Gilbert. During Trent and Helen's brief first encounter, one can see the wheels turning in Joel's head 15 miles away. All three main BLT performers get good news. Phoenix and Trent embark on shopping for Serena's birthday - something Phoenix freely admits isn't easy for him. Mel comes to a stunning revelation about her relationship with Frankie. Helen grows wary of  Joel's controlling nature. It's the end for Frankie and Mel.

SUMMARY: As word spreads of their sudden breakup, Mel and Frankie both struggle to move past it and on with their lives. Micah does not react to the news of  Jennafer's beau very well. Serena tries to get Frankie to open up to her about the breakup, but he refuses, insisting he's fine. Joel unveils his plans for Helen's album to an unimpressed Andy, who actually tries (in vain) to discourage him.

SUMMARY: Phoenix and Serena finally clear the air between them, late at night on the bus. Andy's resentment for Joel continues to grow as he continues to grow more ill. Joel makes a promise he'll never be able to keep. As Halloween rolls around, Kristen and Cecily struggle to make it fun for the children, despite the limitations of the bus. Andy tells Joel exactly what he doesn't want to hear regarding the Trent/Helen mess - no. A simple game of Halloween roleplay turns into a huge battle for Phoenix and Trent.

SUMMARY: Phoenix can't help but marvel at his impulsiveness. Micah calls Tony, desperate for some clarity in the Jennafer/Leo situation. Andy's "good day" goes from bad to worse. Frankie, in an effort to get Mel off his mind, throws a party to honor Tyler's birthday, something everyone thinks is a bit too soon. Cecily worries about seeing her mother again and makes a bet with Kristen regarding  Jenny and her beau. Arrogant guys named Phoenix, mountain goats and medicine monks are just a few parts of one crazy night on stage in Boston.

SUMMARY: Micah ponders Tony's advice and wonders why he's so bothered by his daughter's romance. While spending time with Serena, Frankie realizes just how much things have changed for him over the past few years and resolves that this, too, shall pass. George's early morning escapades have Phoenix regretting his act of kindness and he seeks Tony's advice on the issue. The radio edit of "Adrian's Song" turns out to be the catalyst for the long-awaited Trent/Joel confrontation. Andy wonders what's up with Joel's strange mood.

SUMMARY: Micah makes a surprising offer to Nikki regarding her upcoming album. Joel's new attitude continues, with unexpected productivity and generosity. Andy still isn't sure what's going on with Joel. Helen is extremely surprised by Joel's sudden decision to back away from her creative process and vows to get to the bottom of it. Through a song Tony writes, Phoenix is able to channel some of the emptiness inside of him, on the third anniversary of his mother's death. Everyone agrees to let the annual Thanksgiving Conglomerate die a noble death, except for Kristen, who argues with Tony about hosting a modified version of it. Micah gets a pretty big surprise when he goes to get Jennafer from university.

SUMMARY: Joel once again attempts to make amends with Trent, who, once again, does not want any part of it. Kristen laments her own strong will. Andy refuses to take no for an answer on his latest album idea, tracking down the BLT crew and begging them to consider it. Cecily seeks out advice on how to handle Skyler's adjustment to her new brother and gets some rather discouraging advice. The Mullen family is surprised by Patsy's sudden kindness. On Turkey Day, Phoenix reflects on holidays past, while Andy expresses an invitation to Joel, who quickly spurns it. Judy seems convinced that the new script she's received is just what Trent needs to win himself "the recognition as an actor that he deserves." Andy meets with potential new act Enough Said and is impressed enough to begin pondering the future with them on the label.

SUMMARY: The term "time off" means little to the BLT crew. Joe makes an uncomfortable accusation while on the phone with Micah. Andy ponders what exactly to do with Enough Said after a less-than-stellar concert. Tony proves to be a valuable ally when it comes to planning the JLN holiday parties. Cecily struggles to reconcile Trent's impending departure on the Christmas tour. Phoenix is furious when he finds out the minor detail about the tour that Andy had "forgotten" to tell him. Trent is surprised to read the script Judy thought was so ingenious, and discover the role they're seeking him for.

SUMMARY: Phoenix can't seem to find enough good things to say about the script and Gordon Mobley, while Trent can't seem to find enough bad things. Micah has a horrifying realization while on the phone with Tony. Business continues to boom at JLN, as Joel comes up with a golden idea about potential new act Enough Said. SUMMARY: Things finally settle down on the Christmas tour, just in time for it to end. Andy finalizes plans for the JLN Christmas parties, with much help from Tony. The success of "I'm Alright" starts to get to Jason. Andy's got a surprise for Tony. Much to T.J.'s relief, Cecily does not jump on the "just read the script and then decide" bandwagon. Mel, pondering Tony's advice, knows what she must do about the Frankie situation. The dual milestone of December 21 has Micah in an uncharacteristically sour mood.

SUMMARY: Intellectual Garbage take the stage and wow their famous audience. Nikki tries to talk Micah out of his rotten mood. Mel swallows her pride and approaches Frankie about their breakup. Helen clears the air with Trent. Cecily gets a surprise from her mother. Phoenix's holiday depression is easily remedied by a little compassion. Tony can't understand what's come over him. Micah attemps to give himself a reality check. Sandra oversteps her boundaries once more, infuriating both Cecily and Phoenix. Junior finally gets a name.

SUMMARY: Andy is thrilled with what the future holds for JLN. Phoenix learns that being an 'icon' isn't all it's cracked up to be. As the tour prepares to depart, Cecily and Trent wonder how they will survive without each other. After having to make a tough decision on New Year's Eve, Joel makes a vow where his family is concerned. Micah makes Cecily an offer.
