Kristen Nicole Clark was born the middle child of an upper class New York family. She was adored by her mother, pampered by her father and abhorred by her sisters. Still, no matter how much attention she got at home, Kristen still sought more, often resorting to outlandish stunts during childhood to get attention.

Her father, a doctor, had wanted desperately for Kristen to follow in his footsteps, but she refused. She was not sure what she wanted to do with her life, but she knew that wasn't it. Still undecided on her career, Kristen still moved across country to attend Montana Tech University, which is where she set her sights on a young accounting major, Donnie Reeves.

The sparks between Donnie and Kristen were immediate and they were engaged within six months of meeting. It was around this time that Kristen became pregnant with their child. Unfortunately, however, she miscarried and her relationship with Donnie began to unravel. Shortly before their scheduled wedding, he broke off their engagement, saying he had fallen in love with someone else - a man.

Heartbroken and humiliated, Kristen distanced herself from Donnie for a year before crawling back to the home they had shared. She did not have any other place to go and felt that she was entitled to stay there, since her name was on the lease as well. Donnie had had a year to think about what he'd done to her and felt horrible, but Kristen wanted no apologies. She just wanted him to leave her alone.

It took time, but she eventually forgave him for his betrayal and they became better friends than they ever were lovers. She struggled through horrible relationship after horrible relationship, which he had his heart broken by Jimmy Kelley in much the same way he had broken hers. Finally, in early 1987, Kristen's luck started to change.

Tony Stein, Donnie's newly-divorced pal, was staying in Bozeman with them, to comfort Phoenix after his mother's passing. Sparks flew and before anyone even knew what was going on, they were engaged. Everyone in their inner circle was shocked, betting that it was nothing but a rebound thing and that the relationship would never last. Happily, Tony and Kristen proved everyone wrong.

They were married on April 14. 1987 and just over a year later, Kristen gave birth to the couples twin sons, Cullen and Micah. In Tony, she has found the man of her dreams. He is strong, he is faithful and he offers her the most unconditional love she has ever known. She has become such a different person since being with him and insists that all the changes are for the better. She is happier now than she has ever been.

In April, 1989, Kristen shocked Tony by revealing that she was converting to his Jewish faith. While reaction was mostly skeptical of this, Kristen has proven time and time again just how serious she is. She is determined to be the wife Tony needs and the mother her children need, completely neglecting who she used to be (and at times, still is.) Kristen has given herself completely over to her family... but is she really as happy about it as she swears she is?
