SUMMARY: Despite the invasive film crew, the concert is a success. Andy marvels at how well Frankie has taken to the spotlight. Joel is equally impressed with the Amazing show. Serena has high hopes for the new year. It's a tough goodbye for Trent and Cecily. 1990 begins on a high note for JLN, but Andy is still worried about the status of Intellectual Garbage. Trent finds an unlikely diversion from his unhappiness on the road. Cecily and Sandra butt heads...often. The creative urge strikes Tony at an ironic time. The Enough Said boys don't have the best reaction to the song Joel and Andy wrote for them.

SUMMARY: During a run of the mill phone call, Phoenix makes a suggestion that could change the face of JLN forever. Cecily and Micah discuss her problems with Sandra, while purchasing baby supplies for Gunnar. Cecily and her mother later get into it when she gets home, over the way Cecily 'babies Skyler too much'. Jennafer comes home for the weekend in a strange mood and makes a stunning confession to Micah. Phoenix's birthday goes from bad to worse due to a tough crowd in Seattle.

SUMMARY: The Enough Said guys tattle on Joel's unprofessional behavior and Andy loses it. The next day, Joel has a surprise request for Andy. Jennafer calls Tony to drop a bomb on him and is surprised by his reaction. Things start really happening for the new label idea Phoenix had. Joel calls Tony to share his bad news and offer a heartfelt apology. While attempting to console Joel, Tony opens up a rather painful window into his own past.

SUMMARY: It's a horrible day for both Cecily and Trent and they're each eager to pass off the blame. Jennafer's secret is revealed to her parents, who each react uncharacteristically. Tony, unable to understand his sudden nostalgia trip, seeks Trent's counsel on the issue. Thanks to Phoenix's help, the new label (Vyro Communications) begins to pick up speed. Timothy Hearst makes some waves in his new position and immediately begins to butt heads with Andy. Tony gets a new familiar new editor. Micah and Jennafer discuss what her sudden pregnancy is going to mean. Grammy nominations are disappointing, to say the very least.

SUMMARY: T.J. accepts the Gordon role, but life doesn't remain sweet for long. Phoenix's constant phoning home proves to be a sore spot on the BLT bus. Serena wonders what in the world she did wrong. Tony urges Kristen not to get involved, but she still can't help it. Micah runs afoul of Sandra and when she makes the mistake of sympathizing with him about Jennafer's pregnancy, he loses it. Andy agrees to completely rearrange his schedule to accommodate Tim, making what was already a bad day for him an even worse one.

SUMMARY: Phoenix's day goes from bad to worse and he fumes to Serena about it. Joel has an surprise announcement for Andy.

SUMMARY: A terrible concert caps off what's already a horrible day for Trent and he confides in Tony about how miserable he is. Micah gets a surprising phone call from Cecily. Andy makes his feelings on Joel's departure known. One late night phone call changes everything on the BLT bus. Phoenix and T.J. have it out...again. Serena struggles to keep everything together. After a pleasant surprise, Andy has to wonder if Tim is really that bad after all.

SUMMARY: Andy's true feelings for Tim come to the surface. It's a tense day on the BLT bus. Micah surprises everyone (including himself) with his role in Gunnar's delivery. The first concert without T.J. proves to be a rough one. Phoenix and T.J. clear the air.

SUMMARY: The final three weeks aboard the BLT bus amount to three weeks of hell. Serena and Phoenix continue to rebuild their relationship. Kristen gets some unexpected news. Micah is surprised when the elusive David Groves finally shows his face and reveals his intentions. After a row with Jonas Ritchie, Tim suggests to Andy that they give up on the band and Phoenix's attempts to woo them. A phone call from an old friend provides the answer everyone's been waiting for. The guys get a surprise visitor at the arena...and have to drop a pretty big bombshell.

SUMMARY: The guys get another visitor at the arena, who earns Phoenix's ire. Joel's new ladyfriend impresses no one. Phoenix solicits Kristen's advice on his latest outburst. Tim asks Andy for a favor, never imagining what will unfold. Trent must face what he's done. The changes are evident in Joel.

SUMMARY: The members of Intellectual Garbage meet up to discuss their options regarding JLN. The final concert of the tour gets underway and Phoenix crosses a serious line on the stage, with his disparaging remarks about Shelly.
